Current Event

This large-scale installation uses chaos and disfunctionality to exploit the fallacy inherent in industrial, technological hope. Dilapidated walls are built into the gallery and fantastical tools and objects are strewn throughout the space... in a sort of post-apocalyptic, archeological find. Conflict and danger is inherent in the environment while the over-embellished redundancy of the artifacts leads to an uncertainty of time, place and purpose. Employing visual and semantic paradoxes, the exhibition works to skew the context of the gallery and leaves the audience with thoughts of uncertainty and projected repercussions.
